Les Rencontres de La Fémis

Twice a year, in spring and in autumn, every school year is invited to a seminar exploring a common theme. These ’Rencontres de La Fémis’ are an opportunity for students to discuss the issues raised with top specialists in the field.

La Fémis also regularly invites many top filmmakers to share their experience with students at the School.
Once or twice a year, these masterclasses, organised over two days, serve as a research seminar where the work and creative approach of a filmmaker can be explored and analysed (for instance, in 2012 the guest filmmakers were Luc and Jean-Pierre Dardenne, followed by Nanni Moretti).
